After hearing about all the action hero endorsements of political candidates I thought that an important action hero was missing - Dolph Lundgren. I checked around on the web to find out something more about his political views, but unfortunately it was difficult to find any political statements by him.
It is surprising that he has been so silent about politics since he is obviously smart, eloquent and creative. I am not being sarcastic now. It would be very interesting if Dolph chose to enter politics. The obvious parallel is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Anyway, about a week ago I sent three e-mail messages to Dolph. I sensed that Dolph uses gmail so I sent it to three variations ending on @gmail.com: dolph_lundgren, dolph.lundgren, dolphlundgren.
This is what I wrote: The U.S. national election is approaching. Out of all the candidates, is there any specific candidate that you prefer?
Not surprisingly considering the lack of previous political statements, he has so far chosen to remain silent. Maybe he is waiting for the general election.
